Course Description: Continuation of PHYS& 134 with emphasis on atomic theory of gases, heat, waves, sound and geometric optics.

Prerequisite: ENGL& 101 with a grade of C or higher; and either MATH 099 with a grade of C or higher (or placement into MATH& 141). AND Concurrent enrollment in PHYS& 125.

Student Learning Outcomes

Understand and be able to apply the concepts, laws and principles of fluids, thermodynamics, waves, sound and optics to explain or predict physical phenomena.
